Our Mission
Our event series of discussions aims to spark original conversations on developments in the blockchain space by inviting new viewpoints to the Web3 debate. Women experts from different industries will drive the debate and discuss how blockchain can impact the big global challenges we are facing today: from fighting climate change, to the digitalisation of the economy, to preserving democratic values in an ever-changing geopolitical context.
This event is about creating an impact in the blockchain and policy industry by addressing topics that spark new debates for the Web3 space. This is a blockchain focused event series led by women and for everyone who is interested to join and take part in the event.

What to expect
In the context of upcoming elections in Europe and the European commitment to a green transition, our launch event will feature two panels addressing the following topics.
Panel 1: Blockchain and the Future of Democracy
Upcoming elections, increasing AI tech, disinformation, censorship and increasing problems with data privacy and ownership are challenges we face today in our digital society. This panel will discuss these challenges for democratic societies and consider how new technologies in the Web3 space can contribute to solutions.
What is the role of technology in preserving democracy? How can blockchain support the delicate work that activists do in politically sensitive countries? How can Blockchain be used to increase democratic participation of citizens?
Panel moderated by Nathalie Boyke, Web3 Foundation.
Meet our speakers.
Panel 2: Blockchain technology –
Curse or Solution for the Green Transition?
The debate surrounding blockchain technology and sustainability is a heated one. Our panellists will discuss blockchain in the context of climate, and explore the opportunities and challenges related to using the technology to achieve sustainable goals.
Is the negative image of the blockchain industry's environmental impact justified, or has it improved? Are there other use-cases where blockchain is driving positive impact and helping to tackle climate change? Should such cases be considered when assessing the overall environmental impact of crypto assets?
Panel moderated by Inbar Preiss, DL News.
